Delivery timelines, freight charges and inspection guidelines for City Cab electric vehicles across India and Nepal.
Once your order is confirmed and the booking amount is received, your vehicle is scheduled for production according to its specifications (colour, configuration, accessories). Typical timelines are:
Stock vehicles: 7 to 14 working days from order confirmation to dispatch.
Made-to-order vehicles: 21 to 45 working days, depending on specifications and current production schedule.
Custom carts (ice-cream, food, delivery): 30 to 60 working days, depending on design complexity.
Estimated dates will be confirmed at the time of order. Delays due to factors beyond our control (component shortages, transportation strikes, force majeure) will be communicated to you promptly.
We currently ship City Cab vehicles to all states across India and selected locations in Nepal through our authorised dealer network and dedicated logistics partners. Vehicles are typically delivered:
Freight charges are calculated based on destination, mode of transport, and number of units. The exact amount will be quoted at the time of order confirmation and is in addition to the vehicle price. Freight is non-refundable once the vehicle has been dispatched.
Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery at the agreed delivery location. We recommend that buyers inspect the vehicle thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt. Any visible transit damage must be reported on the delivery receipt and to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by photographs.

RTO registration is the buyer's responsibility, although our dealers can assist with the process for a service charge. Road tax, registration fees, and insurance are not included in the vehicle price unless explicitly stated.

If delivery is delayed beyond the agreed schedule for reasons attributable to us (and not force majeure or buyer-side delays), please contact your dealer or our customer service. We will keep you updated and, in exceptional cases, may offer reasonable compensation as per applicable law.
If delivery cannot be completed because the buyer is unavailable at the agreed delivery time and location, additional storage and re-delivery charges may apply. Vehicles unclaimed beyond 30 days may be subject to administrative fees.
